Comic: Stray Cat Finds Home
Once upon a time there was a stray cat leaving in a dumpster. He had a dream. Looking at a herring bone, he imagined himself sitting on the lap of a nice lady in a light warm room.
And he decided. Decided to go and try his luck.
First of all, he washed himself.
Shiny clean, he came to the door of some people’s house. ‘Mew, miaow’, called he lamentably.
A nice lady looked out of the door and called her husband: ‘Honey, look here!’.
Husband: ‘Mmm?’.
Lady: ‘Honey, here’s a kitty! He’s so cute and he’s clean! So clean — he must have been lost. Poor kitty! Did you get lost? Honey, shall we take him?’
‘Mmm…’, her husband nodded.
And the lady cuddled the cat.
Happy End.
If you were thinking of adopting a cat, consider taking a kitty from a shelter.
If you found a stray cat in the yard contact a local “no-kill” shelter. Be careful, make sure you don’t take someone else’s kitty. Check if the cat has a tag, ask your neighbors.
Basically, chances are good that if you take a stray kitty you’ll get adopted by the cat yourself
